Wonderful place for Saturday morning breakfast while listening to some live bluegrass. The place is small, but surprisingly the live instruments were not overwhelming. I had the mini-maker (small version of the Haymaker) and it really hit the spot after a night of drinking margaritas!
The atmosphere of this establishment is the perfect mix of old and new. Staff was very friendly and the other patrons seemed friendly as well. The food was delicious. The only thing I can say is I wish there were more menu options bc I know they’d be awesome as well. 10/10 will be eating here again!
I went there on several occasions while downtown in Toledo during the morning/early afternoon. I love their food and the place is small, private, and personal. Every time I went, I had something different. Not once did I wish I had ordered something else. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants good food, reasonably priced, with some cool Toledo treats. Even someone to talk to if you'd like, with seating access right next to the kitchen.
This place is right across from my office, so I feel like I go there all the time. Mostly, I get Italian soda or an iced tea. They have a huge selection of syrups to choose from when deciding what drink they have. The staff who works there is always super nice. I am not a fan of their rock cakes. They are a little too dry for me to enjoy.
Super good, super fast!!! Old time quick and easy diner, no pretensions in the prices or the decor. The The Reuben Omelette is fantastic!! The egg sandwiches also are very good. It was fun to sit at the counter with a full view into the cook/prep area - like sitting at the chef's table ;).
I very disturbed by the closing and hours, the son sitting up stairs can't keep the place open, makes me upset. I've been trying to catch them open for 5 or more years and can't forget they chili dog was the best I've ever had and when I bring my friends there to show them, they're closed. I seen from reading the reviews where the owner replied. That is appreciated. I just need to know why the son doesn't want to help pops out. 😕
First things first the food is AWESOME! This was my first time eating inside for a work meeting...I love the atmosphere! Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Toledo. It's cozy and unpretentious, it is a place you can be comfortable in and enjoy some delicious food!!! I believe they also have live music some nights. I highly recommend you check them out.

I loved it here. Their food is amazing. I really hope to be able to eat here again soon. My picture is of what I think is the river wrap. I really hope to be able to eat this bad boy again. It really was delicious. Lol
Amazing breakfast! So glad the hubby n I went here this afternoon. Found a new fav downtown!!! Great Service. Great food. Great decor!
